How does it work?

BBL uses broad-spectrum light that is absorbed by brown pigment in the skin and the hemoglobin in blood vessels that cause redness. When the skin absorbs the different wavelengths of light, the targeted lesions, whether pigmentation or redness, are destroyed. Brown spots slough off within 7-14 days, and the closed-off blood vessels are absorbed by the body. The light’s energy and heat also trigger a wound-healing response, boosting collagen production.

After paperwork and consultation are completed, our practitioners will provide safety goggles to protect your eyes from the bright light. A topical numbing cream can be used for comfort. The pulse of light may feel like a small sting but is generally well tolerated. The treatment takes anywhere from 20-40 minutes, depending on the area treated. Usually, 3-5 treatments, spaced 4 weeks apart, are recommended to see maximum results. Treatments can be purchased in packages, and payment plans are available if needed.
