Deborah Hart – Nurse Practitioner, Owner

As faculty for the Canadian Board of Aesthetic Medicine, she trains national and international physicians and nurses. She is an internationally recognized provider of Advanced Medical Aesthetics, as well as women’s and men’s health. As a board member for the Canadian Association of Medical Aesthetics and a recognized member of the International Cellular Medicine Association, she participates in both education and research in these fields. Deborah received her Masters in Nursing, Nurse Practitioner from Dalhousie University. She is the Chair of The Nurse Practitioner Association of Nova Scotia, sits on the council for the Nurse Practitioner Association of Canada and the Provincial Nursing Network Nova Scotia. She is a member of the Honors Society of Nursing Sigma Theta Tau, the College of Registered Nurses of Nova Scotia, the Canadian Association of Medical Spas & Aesthetic Surgeons and, the International Association for Physicians in Aesthetic Medicine. She has over 25 years of experience delivering healthcare in Canada and abroad. As a Nurse Practitioner, Registered Nurse, and Medical Assistant she has experience in a variety of settings including Medical Aesthetics, Pre & Post Surgical care, Cardiology, Remote Northern Nursing, The Department of National Defense, and has specialized for more than 10 years in Emergency and Trauma Care. She received extensive training in Medical Aesthetics including BOTOX®, Hyaluronic Acid Fillers, Medical Grade Chemical Peels, Sclerotherapy (vein treatments), Belkyra (chin treatments), and Skin Care. Her goal is to enhance your natural beauty and your best self using the most comprehensive care for natural results.
Tara Lawrence – Clinical Aesthetician, Clinic Director

Tara has had a passion for skincare for as long as she can remember, so much so, that she made a career out of it! During her career spanning the last 26 years, she has worked in all facets of the industry. Tara is a certified master esthetician, Instructor and makeup artist, who has worked in the treatment room, in sales management, spa management and education. Her career education started at the Academy of Cosmetology with a diploma in esthetics, followed by a degree in Human Resource Management from Saint Mary’s University. She has attended several advanced certification courses in Clinical Esthetics, Laser technology, Microneedling, Dermaplaning, advanced skincare, and chemical peels. After many years working with other clinics to improve their education, customer service, and bottom line, she is excited and committed to offering exceptional service and outstanding results to the clients of First Impressions.
Laura Oldford – Registered Nurse

Laura is a certified cosmetic nurse injector in our Bedford location of First Impressions Rejuvenation Clinic. She started her career as a Registered Nurse and has over nine years of experience in acute medical, surgical, and oncology care. Laura has in-depth knowledge of facial anatomy and experience in cosmetic injectables such as neuromodulators and hyaluronic acid fillers. In addition, Laura is also excited to be able to offer other services including platelet-rich plasma therapy, permanent fat reduction, laser treatments, and numerous other skincare treatments. Laura’s main goal is to boost your self-confidence and help you to feel like the best version of yourself by offering individualized treatment plans focusing on natural, beautiful results.
Samantha Cochrane – Registered Nurse

Samantha has been a registered nurse for 4 years now. She started her career in orthopedic trauma at the Halifax Infirmary and continues her nursing experience at the IWK in Paediatric oncology, hematology and nephrology. Samantha studied medical aesthetics with THMA Consulting and can’t wait to continue her education and grow her career in medical aesthetics with First Impressions. She has always had a passion for skincare and is excited to deliver safe, natural results to all her cosmetic patients.
