First Impressions Rejuvenation Clinic is Nurse Practitioner (NP) owned and operated, founded on the principles of helping people maximize their overall health, well-being and self-confidence. Since the beginning of her healthcare practice, Deborah Hart MN NP has always been interested in preventative medicine with the belief that an essential foundation for maintaining vitality as we age includes a healthy diet, regular activity, a balanced lifestyle, and a good skin care regime; overall, good selfcare. Having been approached multiple times in her Primary Health Care/Family Practice Clinic, with cosmetic concerns for acne treatments, acne scarring, vein treatments, and other medical aesthetic concerns such as wrinkles, skin volume loss, blemishes etc., by those who wanted options for treatment without extended travel and wait periods; we realized options were limited. As a professional whose goals are to increase access to care and enhance each individual’s optimal level of well-being, a need was recognized and the practice of aesthetic medicine was a natural evolution. These services are now enhanced and offered in Nova Scotia’s Cape Breton and Halifax Regional Municipalities.
The goal of increasing access to care and enhancing each individual’s well-being through medical aesthetic treatments was realized only after completing advanced education in medical aesthetics, cellular medicine, sclerotherapy (vein treatment) and both women’s and men’s intimate health, under world renowned physician instruction and becoming a member of the Canadian Association of Medical Spas & Aesthetic Surgeons, the International Association for Physicians in Aesthetic Medicine and working with The College of Registered Nurses of Nova Scotia to ensure competency and obtain the license to practice medical aesthetics and rejuvenation medicine in NS in addition to her Primary Health Care/Family Practice.
